Marriage Moment & Parenting Pointer
Dear
Friends,
As I
write to you today the sun is shining and the snow piles are just about
melted. We made it through the storms with some damage – believe it or
not we lost 10 trees on the property. To be honest, I didn’t realize
that we had that many trees to lose. The one that hurt the most was the tree
in the center of the sandbox – thankfully there was minimal damage to the
buildings. And through all of the blizzards we only lost one retreat.
On
the bright side we just completed
the installation of 95 solar panels (that’s a 19kw system for you
engineering types) and all the associated equipment. This project has been a
dream of mine for several years and finally it has become a reality. This is
not only a great economic investment for the Center, it really helps the
environment. I would love to share the details of this venture with you the next
time you are here. We hope to have this project paid back (with energy
savings) in under 8 years.
Finally,
I would like to encourage you to consider one of our retreats this year. With
all of the snow, missed days of school, and all around chaos sign-ups have been
a bit slow. As you know the number one way to support our ministry is to
attend retreats and spread the word about our ministry.
God’s
Peace to you all,
Anthony

Marriage Moments and Parenting Pointers
On Marriage…
Giving up is easy. Staying married is hard. Love makes it
possible. God is love. 'Nuff said.
On Parenting…
Whether
you are a single custodial parent, a parent who visits on weekends, or a parent
whose spouse is gone for long periods of time - it's not easy. Summon up your
courage and your friends. Ask for respite when you need it. Both you and your
child will benefit.
Blessings to All!
